The Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Toning Toner manages it by pairing a mild PHA exfoliant with 84% Centella Asiatica Extract — so every time you exfoliate, you're simultaneously flooding the skin with calming, barrier-supporting activity.

The base here is striking: 84% of the formula is Centella Asiatica from Madagascar, meaning the toner has more cica than most dedicated cica serums. This concentrate delivers the full spectrum of centella's active compounds — asiaticoside, madecassoside, asiatic acid, and madecassic acid — which work together to stimulate the skin's own hyaluronic acid production, calm inflammation, and support collagen synthesis over time.

The exfoliant is Gluconolactone, a PHA. Unlike AHAs (which can trigger sensitivity) or BHAs (which can dry things out), PHAs have a larger molecular size that limits their penetration speed, making them far more compatible with reactive and sensitised skin. They remove dead skin cells from the surface for a cleaner, smoother, more receptive complexion without disruption.
